Shenanigans!
It was a good
show, but, so sorry, the Olympic opening ceremonies in Athens
were not watched by 4.5
billion people. Short of claiming that more than 100 percent
of the planet's population watched them, I can hardly think of a
more ridiculous claim to make. At the time the ceremonies began,
North America was at work, India was going to bed, and China was
fast asleep. If even half of the people in those countries were
doing what they should have been doing, that takes care of it.
