Mega-drivel

Naked ambition always leaves a bitter taste on my timorous Canadian palate, especially when it's naked ambition that doesn't realize it's naked. Justin Trudeau's political ambitions have been obvious for some time — sometimes far too obvious, I think. He's only 33, mind you, and he's not a complete moron, which affords him Great White Hope status all on its own. I'll not speak ill of him again. I will suggest, however, that he could do without any further praise from the Canadian Press's Dennis Bueckert:

With the complexion of an outdoorsman and the tousled mane of a rebel, Trudeau radiates health, idealism and the charisma of his father.

Blech.
