Self-indulgent travel post 1.0

I am blogging from Gatwick Airport! Fascinating, no? I have retreated to Starbucks on the "upper level," hoping to gain enough strength to attempt the battle royale that is the Easyjet check-in scrum. It's a madhouse down there. I think I saw livestock.

Cheers to Air Canada's friendly and professional service, two free beers and adjustable headrest. Jeers to the screaming, barfing babies in row 32, and to an altogether revolting chicken-based meal — honestly, how do you screw up rice? — and underachieving "breakfast box." (Insert way-too-obvious joke about eating the box here.) Actually, what the hell, I'm completely knackered: I'd sooner have eaten the box! Hiyo!
