Totally Budget
This was the plan: pick up rental car; drive up to the Kawarthas to attend very good friend's engagement party; have fun; stay the night; come back. This is what happened: got to Budget; noted at least a dozen unimpressed-looking people slumped against wall; developed uneasy feeling in pit of stomach; approached counter with reservation in hand; told they were overbooked, no cars for at least two hours, leaving insufficient time to get to party; all other rental outfits sold out; went home.
