Robert Solomon, national spokesperson for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, lauded police for laying charges. "It's absolutely appalling that we continue to have this mythology that alcohol is okay as long as you aren't driving."

They really need to take a cue from AA...
"Each group has but one primary purpose - to carry its message to the alcoholic who still suffers."
The reason that AA has worked so well, for so long, for so many people is that it has NEVER tried to become a temperance movement. As the saying goes...
"If you want to drink, that's your problem. If you want to stop, that's ours."
