Yikes
The normally fairly reasonable Christina Blizzard objects to the Ontario government helping to build schools in tsunami-ravaged southeast Asia:
I'm not suggesting for a minute that Colle's trip to Pakistan and the plan to build schools in Sri Lanka and Indonesia are Liberal ploys to buy votes in the rapidly growing Southeast Asian community here, but I can certainly see how some critics might interpret it that way.
And I'm not suggesting for a minute that Ms Blizzard is miles offside, but I can certainly see how people might think the Ontario government was just trying to help, just like everyone else.
