Mirror to the sports department, stat!
The Winnipeg native [Cindy Klassen] can atone — a word and concept cited far too frequently, it seems, when the subject is Canadian Olympians — in any of the races she has left here.
atone v.intr (usu. followed by for) make amends; expiate (for a wrong)
This after Klassen won a bronze medal.
