Can a country sue for libel?
But the laws of war do not prohibit any loss of civilian life. They do forbid the deliberate targeting of civilians, but no one has presented any evidence that that is what Israel has done.
Not true! The Toronto Star did so on Friday, in the biggest one-sided piece of crap article they've printed since, well, the last one:
It [Israel] has wiped certain Shiite villages almost clear off the map. It has targeted innocent civilians fleeing the villages they were told to flee by the Israeli army.
Oh wait, sorry — evidence. Somehow I read "baseless accusations". As you were.

All the evidence you need is presented in this strike on a civilian convoy. Have you seen the photos of it? They were out in the middle of nowhere. There were no other targets anywhere in the area except for the civilian convoy. Therefore it's undisputable that Israel deliberately targetted civilians when they hit this civilian convoy.

It would be nice to have an explanation of that strike, I'll give you that. However, the explanation is obviously not that the Israelis are targeting civilians as a mater of policy. And that article's still drivel.

Intent.
Not result (which is bad).
But intent.
